The City may add new title records to the shared database
provided they meet specific standards for quality and format to
be defined by the County Library's Technical Services
Division. The County will furnish these standards in writing to
the City..

The City may add item records to existing County title records
or to title records added to the database by the City during the
duration of this contract.

The City may not change the County's title records, add
duplicate records, add records which do not meet minimum
standards, or add or change any authority control records.

New title records added by the City will be subject to review
for quality control by the County's Technical Services
Manager. The County reserves the right to upgrade any title
records added by the City at any time. The County reserves
the dght to attach its own item records to title records added
by the City. If the City adds duplicate records or substandard
records, the County may penalize the City with an additional
fcc of $25.00 per record upon written notice to the City.

The methods by which the City will add new title and item
records will be planned and developed by mutual agreement
between the City, the County, and the City's technical services
vendor dudng the period of Apdl through June, 1999. The
County prefers that such records be provided in electronic
form. If other methods are chosen by the City and its technical
services vendor, there will be increased costs to the County
and the County reserves the dght to renegotiate the value of
this contract.

Intemet access at public and staff workstations installed at the
Pleasanton Library as of June 30, 1999

This will include telecommunications costs ('1'-1 capable frame
relay access), a pro rata share of the County's Intemet service,
and maintenance of the telecommunication equipment located
at the Pleasanton Library as of June 30, 1999.
