G-4.07 <br /> <br />Upon failure on the part of the contractor to comply with any order of <br />the engineer made under the provisions of this article, the engineer <br />shall have authority to remove and replace defective material or work <br />at the expense of the contractor, and the contractor and his sureties <br />shall be liable therefor. <br /> <br />EROSION CONTROL: <br />Adequate provisions shall be made for silt and erosion control.
