Tri-Valley Transportation Council │ 2020 Nexus Fee Update Study <br />August 2021 │ Final 65 <br /> <br />The project proposes to place express bus stops in the Tri-Valley area at the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART <br />Station and at a future park and ride to be constructed at the Bernal Avenue interchange in Pleasanton. <br />Understanding that the express buses must merge across all lanes of traffic to access the express lane, <br />these stop locations are spaced to efficiently serve the Tri-Valley area while also maximizing the express <br />lane distance the bus is able to utilize in-between bus stops. <br />The estimated costs below assume that at each bus stop location there would be construction of roadway <br />and bus stop improvements, including installation of transit amenities such as shelters, bike lockers, <br />lighting, and real time information signs. <br />Status: A project schedule has not yet been developed. <br /> <br />Cost and Funding Sources: <br />Cost (Millions) $59.35 <br />Funding (Millions) $0.00 <br />Total Funding (Millions) $0.00 <br />Total Funding Shortfall (Millions) $59.35
