Page 12 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />The 2023 winter storms inflicted significant damage across Pleasanton. Interim repairs and <br />cleanup were completed. Efforts to recover costs for interim repairs and cleanup are ongoing. <br />On March 19, 2024, the City Council reallocated discretionary funds from the CIP program to <br />support permanent repairs, which will be partially reimbursed by FEMA. Following interim <br />repairs, four permanent repair projects commenced, initiating a multi-year process of design <br />and permitting with FEMA and state regulatory agencies. These projects include upsizing <br />storm drain lines on Puri Court and Sycamore Creek Way, and installing debris capture <br />systems at Sassafras Court to help reduce future cleanup and recovery costs. <br /> <br />Facilities CIP Projects <br />Table 9 summarizes the full list of Facilities CIP projects that had a budget in FY 2023/24, <br />actual expenditures if any, and recommended carryforwards. <br /> <br />Table 9 – Facilities CIP Projects <br />Page 269 of 658
