2 of 5 <br />●Evaluation of nonconformance items flagged by staff on the development application <br />●General review of compliance with or divergence from the City of Pleasanton Objective Design <br />Standards <br />●Identification of missing information needed to confirm compliance with the City of Pleasanton <br />Objective Design Standards <br />●Recommendation of changes to bring projects into compliance the City of Pleasanton Design <br />Standards <br />Since VMWP will be serving as an internal extension of the City of Pleasanton,this scope <br />excludes expert testimony on development applications in public hearings and direct <br />communication with applicants. <br />Schedule Duration:15 business days from date review documents are provided to VMWP. <br />Deliverables <br />Deliverables shall be limited to the following: <br />●Internal assessments of applicant compliance with the City of Pleasanton Design Standards to <br />assist staff in guiding applicants. <br />●If desired,VMWP can compile comments into a formal memorandum not to exceed (3)three <br />pages using a template provided by the City of Pleasanton <br />●If desired,VMWP can provide redlined copies of applicant submitted site plans and building <br />elevations to communicate conceptual changes needed to bring specific architectural and site <br />elements into compliance with the City of Pleasanton Design Standards. <br />Fee <br />VMWP will bill Task A reviews hourly by individual development and itemize the fee for each review by <br />the respective development.Billed hours shall include time utilized in internal meetings with <br />Community Development staff,document review,and application markups. <br />VMWP will make every effort to minimize hours and make efficient use of resources.Refer to Exhibit D <br />for in-place hourly rates. <br />Review billings for development applications shall,under no circumstance,exceed the following: <br />●Preliminary (Informal)Development Application (anticipated to be Schematic Design level)-10 <br />hours <br />●Formal Development Application Review -20 hours <br />Task B:Continuing Education /StaTraining <br />If desired,VMWP can develop and present information sessions on the Design Standards content to <br />relevant audiences.These audiences may include Staff,Planning Commission or City Council work <br />sessions,community stakeholders,or the development community. <br />Deliverables <br />Deliverables shall be limited to the following: <br />●Preparation of training presentation content. <br />●Presentation:Virtual training module (via zoom),not to exceed 1 hour in duration <br />Schedule Duration:6 weeks advance notice shall be required prior to desired presentation date. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 28F5B703-43CA-4A9C-9D94-D367760F2C73Docusign Envelope ID: A8109593-EE7E-444C-A9E2-9F18AE6CF9A4
