Page 6 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />Figure 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Alternative Response Unit <br />The Alternate Response Unit (ARU) provides a non-uniformed response to assist community <br />members in a mental health crisis, offers resources to family members, offers resources and <br />long-term solutions to unhoused individuals. In 2024, the ARU responded to an average of 5.1 <br />calls per day; see Table 8 below.
