City of Pleasanton
30 April 2025
Page 3

Each workshop will include a presentation of the information included in the relevant subtasks and will
consist of an approximately one- to two- hour meeting with City staff. During each workshop, EKI will
request input from City staff regarding the presentation of initial findings in the UWMP draft under Task 4.
Subtask 1.6 – Presentation to the City Council at the Public Hearing
EKI will prepare for, attend, and present at the public hearing when final adoption of the UWMP is being
considered. For budgeting purposes, it is assumed that the meeting will last up to two hours.
Task 1 Assumptions
• The project kickoff meeting will be conducted via remote web conference (e.g., Microsoft Teams
or Zoom) and will not exceed 1 hour in duration.
• The budget is based on conducting up to eight coordination meetings (i.e., roughly monthly over
the project duration, except when replaced by workshops) via remote web conference (e.g.,
Microsoft Teams or Zoom) that will not exceed 30 minutes each.
• The City will be responsible for distributing the final coordination letters and public notices.
• The City Council meeting for final adoption of the 2025 UWMP will last up to two hours.
Task 1 Deliverables
• Kickoff meeting agenda and summary.
• Biweekly progress meeting agendas and summaries.
• Monthly invoices and task-based progress reports summarizing work completed within the
invoicing period.
• Bimonthly project schedule updates.
• Draft template coordination letters and notices.
• Correspondence with Zone 7 and DWR (at the direction of City staff).
• Presentation materials as one draft and one final set of slides summarizing results.
Task 2 – Data Collection and Review of Background Documents
Specific information will be required for the 2025 UWMP regarding water demands and supplies, water
conservation, and coordination efforts. Prior to the kickoff meeting, EKI will review the City’s 2020 UWMP
with respect to anticipated changes and updates in relevant regulations and forthcoming DWR 2025
UWMP Guidebook. EKI will also identify and research relevant publicly available data, records, maps,
reports, and plans.
Following the review of publicly available information, the EKI Team will develop a Request for
Information (RFI) to identify additional information, records, and data needed for the development of the
2025 UWMP. EKI will work with City staff to identify when the relevant information is likely to become
available. The RFI will include a tabular summary of the additional data and information needs. EKI will
prepare the RFI with the goal of minimizing the need for follow-up requests, while also understanding
that DWR has not yet released its 2025 UWMP Guidebook.
EXHIBIT A
Docusign Envelope ID: C661CF75-4987-4828-A8C7-DB4BC31D3C52
