The purposes of this
Kickoff Meeting are: 1) to clearly define the goals of the Project; 2) to establish an understanding of the City’s needs; 3) to establish
and schedule the key milestones in order to determine the standards and policies that apply to the Project; and 4) to refine the
Project’s Scope of Work and its budget. The meeting will also include an initial effort to collect data and to comprehend the City’s
understanding of the drainage system.
Deliverable(s): Kickoff Meeting Agenda/Minutes | Data Request
Task 2.2 – Interviews/Informational Exchange
The Wood Rodgers Team will conduct up to three interviews with key City staff members and City Utilities personnel who are familiar
with the stormwater system. Additionally, site visits to as many as ten specific facilities (such as
pump stations, trash capture devices, frequent flooding locations, and those with known deficiencies) will also be conducted.
Deliverable(s): Three (3) Interviews; Site Visit Summaries for up to ten (10) sites
Task 2.3 – Data Collection and Review
Wood Rodgers will collect and review data to develop the bases for inventory, condition assessment, operations and maintenance
optimization, improvement prioritization, and the proposed Storm Drain Master Plan for the City.
To sufficiently update the City’s drainage facility, Wood Rodgers will collect and
review the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS) geodatabase, parcel
data, easements, historical flooding information, record drawings,
maintenance documents, latest hydrologic and hydraulic data, land uses, the
general plan, relevant reports, studies, and other plans and supporting data.
Wood Rodgers will also collect as‐builts, surveys, models and the latest
standards from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) ‐ Zone 7
and other agencies in order to supplement missing data or “gaps” in the
geodatabase (see Exhibit 2). Work orders from operations and maintenance
activities and anecdotal flooding incidents will be collected and reviewed to
understand drainage facility operation issues and to verify flooding locations
and extents. Data regarding planned and existing capital improvement
projects, green infrastructure facilities, Low Impact Development (LID) projects, and trash capture devices will be collected to assess
the hydraulic impacts or benefits.
Exhibit 2
Exhibit 1
EXHIBIT A
Docusign Envelope ID: DF86282A-2A84-404C-9F8A-A035AEFBCFF8
