IfanyCaliforniaEndangeredSpeciesActͲorFederallyEndangeredSpeciesActͲlistedplantor <br />animalisencountered,operaƟonsshallceaseinproximity,andtheareashallbeavoided.TheCity <br />ofPleasanton,oritsdesignee,shallbenoƟĮedimmediately. <br />NesƟng Birds and RoosƟng Bats <br />NesƟngbirdandbatroostsurveysarerequiredfromFebruary1toAugust31andshallbeconducted <br />within7daysofanymechanicalormanualtreatmentareasbyaqualiĮedbiologist.AddiƟonalwildlife <br />surveysmayberequiredseasonally,asdeterminedbytheCityofPleasanton,oritsqualiĮeddesignee. <br />1. AreaswherenesƟngbirdsand/orbatroostsarefoundtooccurshallhaveabuīerzoneof500feet  <br />orgreater,asdeterminedbythequaliĮedbiologist.ThequaliĮedbiologistreservestherightto <br />increaseordecreasethebuīersizeasappropriatebasedontopography. <br />2. Disturbanceofnests/dens/roosts/nestcaviƟesshallbeavoided.IftheContractoridenƟĮesan <br />acƟvenest/den/roost/nestcavity,abuīerof100feetshouldbeimmediatelyestablishedbetween <br />construcƟonacƟviƟesandtheacƟvenest/den/roost/nestcavitysothatnesƟngacƟviƟesarenot <br />interrupted,andCityofPleasantonstaīshouldbenoƟĮed.AqualiĮedbiologistreservestheright <br />toincreaseordecreasethebuīersizeasappropriatebasedontopography. <br />San Francisco DuskyͲFooted Woodrat <br />Woodratsandwoodratnestsreceivea10Ͳfootbuīeratminimum.ThemajorityoflivingvegetaƟon <br />associatedwithwoodratnestcomplexesshouldremain,wherefeasible. <br />1. Woodratnestsmayonlyberemoved,ifnecessary,toaccessaporƟonofatreatmentarea <br />otherwiseinaccessibleorreasonablypassfromonetreatmentpolygontoanother. <br />2.
