<br />Scope of Work and Cost Estimate <br />PSA Implementation Services and Support | City of Pleasanton Augustin Bernal Community Park Fuels Project <br />March 2026 <br />3 <br /> <br />• Post-treatment survey forms will be completed and incorporated into the Completion Report, <br />covered in Task 5.4 <br />Assumptions <br />• Cost for a half-day of services assumes four (4) hours on-site for a project biologist and is inclusive <br />of travel <br />• Based on the project size and treatment methods, Sequoia estimates that contractor <br />implementation will take approximately sixty (60) days, requiring sixty (60) days of monitoring <br />• Sequoia biologists will conduct post-treatment surveys simultaneously with biological monitoring, <br />following the completion of treatment activities in treatment areas <br />• Worker Environmental Awareness Program (WEAP) materials will be updated from previous <br />similar projects under this task <br />o Sequoia can provide hard hat stickers to denote crew training, trifold training pamphlets, <br />and project sensitive area signage for additional cost <br />o Sequoia can also provide biological resource training programs in Spanish, as well as a <br />presentation in PowerPoint in English and Spanish for additional costs <br />• Additional days for biological field services can be provided with a contract amendment <br />5.3 GIS Support <br />Sequoia will provide GIS assistance by developing a treatment tracking system including treatment units, <br />active bird nests, photo points, and daily monitoring reports when applicable. <br />Deliverables <br />• ArcGIS Online web app for contractor use <br />• ArcGIS Online Dashboard for tracking <br />Assumptions <br />• Sequoia will develop treatment tracking system, including ArcGIS web maps for contractor use and <br />an ArcGIS Online Dashboard that tracks project progress <br />o The tracking dashboard will be shared with the City and include treatment units with <br />completion status, active bird nests, photo points, and daily monitoring reports <br />• Cost includes weekly maintenance of web GIS products to ensure accuracy and functionality <br />5.4 Completion Report <br />Under this task, Sequoia will prepare the completion report required by the CALFIRE CalVTP PSA process. <br />The report will summarize all treatments, including total area treated, treatment types in each area, work <br />performed, species encountered, and protection measures implemented during the work, as required by <br />the CalVTP Program Environmental Impact Report.
