RFP: City of Pleasanton, I-580 Overcrossing Bicycle & Pedestrian Improvements (CIP #22570) | 16
stakeholder brieĮngs. As the project moves toward the
Caltrans permitting phase and eventual construction
advertisement, Team 360 will develop pre-construction
community notiĮcations, including mailers, door hangers,
and business toolkits, that communicate timing, access
changes, and project phasing clearly and in advance.
We have a proven track record producing project
explainer videos and visual animations for OakDOT
corridor improvement projects, including the Broadway
and Embarcadero West streetscape improvements —
work that translated complex design plans into clear,
community-facing visuals that helped the public
understand what changes to expect and how
improvements would beneĮt them. For the I-580
overcrossing improvements, where bridge design changes
may be difĮcult for the public to visualize from plans
alone, this type of visual storytelling can be a powerful
tool for building community understanding and support.
We will coordinate with Wood Rodgers on the
development of all visual content to ensure accuracy and
alignment with the design at each submittal stage.
Task 3.3 Deliverables:
• Project fact sheets and update notices;
• Digital content (web, social media);
• Pre-construction community notiĮcations; project
explainer video / visual
• animation (as directed);
• Presentation materials for public meetings.
Task 3.4 – DocumentaƟon, ReporƟng, and
Quality Assurance
We will maintain organized records of all engagement
activities, including outreach logs, meeting
documentation, stakeholder correspondence, and
feedback summaries. We will provide the project team
with regular progress updates and prepare engagement
summary reports at key project milestones.
All public-facing materials will go through an internal
QA/QC review process before distribution to ensure
accuracy, clarity, and consistency with the project's design
status and messaging. We will coordinate closely with
Wood Rodgers throughout to ensure that engagement
activities and communications remain aligned with the
design and permitting schedule.
Task 3.4 Deliverables:
• Outreach logs and activity tracking;
• Milestone engagement reports;
• QA/QC review of all public-facing materials.
TASK 4 – PROJECT DESIGN
Following the development of base mapping from the
topographic survey, right of way base map, and utility
base map, Wood Rodgers will prepare detailed designs for
each interchange that builds upon the conceptual design,
updating the design to reflect any issues identified with
the field walk, initial discussions with the City and
Caltrans, and updated design criteria since the project was
paused.
Task 4.1 – Traĸc and Collision Analysis
Wood Rodgers will prepare a Traffic and Collision Analysis
summarizing the current and forecasted traffic volumes,
as well as the history of collisions within the project area.
This analysis will focus on how the proposed project will
affect operations on I-580 with the modifications of the
on- and off-ramps of the three interchanges. The collision
analysis will provide a summary of collision history,
identify primary causes of the collisions, and how the
project will affect each type of collision.
Task 4.2 – Storm Water Data Report (Short
Form)
Wood Rodgers will prepare a short form Storm Water
Data Report (SWDR) to include with the Caltrans DEER.
The SWDR will address permanent and temporary water
pollution control measures to comply with the State’s
NPDES general construction permit
Task 4.3 – TransportaƟon Management Plan
Wood Rodgers will prepare a Transportation Management
Plan (TMP) for the project consistent with Caltrans
Transportation Management Plan Guidelines (dated
November 2015). The TMP will consist of sections
addressing some or all the following strategies at a plan
level: roles and responsibilities, public information,
motorist information, incident management, construction
strategies (e.g., lane closure charts), demand
management, alternative routes (or detours), and
continency plans. Wood Rodgers will coordinate with
Caltrans Traffic Operations on preparation and review of
the TMP. Wood Rodgers will prepare materials required
for a major lane closure request for the ramps and any
needed lane closures within Caltrans right of way. Recent
data will be obtained from the Caltrans Traffic Census
Program website, the Performance Measurement System
(PeMS) website, or via a request to Caltrans Traffic
Operations staff. It is assumed that Wood Rodgers will not
collect new data for the TMP, and all data will be obtained
from Caltrans.
Docusign Envelope ID: 51FAFAD2-C432-8610-82B1-8C74A5863E3EDocusign Envelope ID: CF4E9CB2-CD8E-8250-8118-86FF73955901
