4 <br />– The creation of a separate data warehouse consisting of ISO ClaimSearch Information for a <br />purpose other than to support (1) insurance claims processing and investigation or (2) fraud <br />detection, prevention, and investigation is prohibited. <br />– ISO ClaimSearch Participating Organizations engaging a third party in connection with <br />modeling that involves ISO ClaimSearch Information or information aggregated from ISO <br />ClaimSearch Information must comply with the following: <br /> »Such third party must go through the ISO ClaimSearch credentialing process for third <br />parties. <br /> »Such third party must enter into a license directly with ISO authorizing its use of ISO <br />ClaimSearch Information or aggregated derivatives of such information for the specific <br />purpose identified. <br /> »The ISO ClaimSearch Participating Organization must enter into an Amendment to its <br />agreement with ISO to authorize such use by the third party. <br />• There are procedures to audit the access to and use of ISO ClaimSearch Information and for <br />reporting such violations. <br />• Violators face sanctions commensurate with the violation or deviation from authorized use. <br />For example, if an Authorized User uses ISO ClaimSearch for a nonclaims purpose, ISO may, <br />at its discretion, request documentation of actions taken by the Participating Organization and/ <br />or take action to terminate the Authorized User or the Participating Organization.
