<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 2 <br />• In September 2024, Zone 7 selected Luhdorff & Scalmanini, Consulting Engineers (LSCE) <br />through a competitive process to complete Phase I of the project, including the Feasibility <br />Study, with the option to continue with an LSCE-led team to complete Phase II of the <br />project, which includes design and implementation. <br /> <br />• Staff recommends that the Board authorize the General Manager to negotiate, execute, <br />and amend, as needed, a new contract with LSCE for Phase II services, including <br />Preliminary Design and Owner's Representative services (described below), to support <br />procurement of a PDB contractor, in a not-to-exceed amount of $2,250,000, which includes <br />a 10% contingency. <br /> <br />FUNDING: <br /> <br />Funding for Zone 7’s share of the project is included in the Adopted Two-Year Budget for FY <br />2026-28 for Fund 130 – Water System Expansion. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br /> <br />Adopt the attached Resolution. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />1.
