Recreation <br />The recommendations for Recreation fees fall into two categories. The first is administrative <br />housekeeping: fees residents are already paying that were never formally captured in the <br />MFS. The second category involves genuine changes — new fees, fee restructuring, or rate <br />increases — most of which are grounded in benchmark surveys of comparable agencies or a <br />need to clarify existing refund and cancellation practices. Details are included in Attachment 2. <br /> <br />Existing Fees Not Currently Listed in the MFS <br />This section covers fees the Library and Recreation Department already charges — most <br />adopted informally by past practice or by standalone Council resolution — that were simply <br />never incorporated into the MFS document itself. No rate changes are proposed for the large <br />majority of these; the recommendation is to formalize the current fees.
