<br />EXHIBIT K <br /> <br />YOUTH COMMISSION <br />RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING <br />THE BERNAL PROPERTY PHASE II SPECIFIC PLAN AND <br />THE BERNAL COMMUNITY PARK MASTER PLAN <br />(Prepared by Wayne Rasmussen, Project Coordinator <br />March 8, 2006) <br /> <br />On March S, 2006, the Youth Commission reviewed and commented on the Draft Bernal <br />Property Phase II Specific Plan, and the Draft Bernal Community Park Master Plan. The <br />Commission expressed its support for both plans, including the location of the potential <br />Youth/Community Center, and provided the following consensus recommendations: <br />I. Add tennis courts somewhere within the 3lS-acre Phase II Specific Plan area. <br />2. Allow one of the three soccer fields to also be used for football and lacrosse. <br />3. Either remove the roundabouts along the proposed Pleasanton A venue extension, <br />or make the diameter of them great enough to more conveniently accommodate <br />traffic flow. <br />
