orne more key concerns are as follows:

Page I. of I

Marion Pavan

From: Matt and Cheryl [mlawer1@comcast.net]
Sent: Monday, March 06, 20064:56 PM
To: Marion Pavan
Subject: Selway Leman Project along Cameron Avenue in Pleasanton

Jme more key concerns are as follows: Again, these are opinions and an exercise in free speech and are not meant to slander,
19rade or otherwise. I wish to clarify that before being held accountable for something that may not be accurate or something
at may sound offensive.

laking sure that the additional water trucks don't stop operation after grading is finished. They should remain in continuous use
r the entire length of the project: 3-4 years.

le coordination of the work on the Cameton Ave. itself needs to be such that all of the work/tie in'sltearing up of the street needs
be done at one time and in writing to the public ahead of time and then the road needs stripped and finish paved. The street is
,rrow as it is. If you factor in a rough patch surface that is hard to navigate for youngsters and adults alike on foot or bikes, and
u factor in cones and barricades that reduce the 2 lanes of traffic into one lane of traffic for any length of time: that the situation
n be very dangerous for all. How do you expect opposing traffic of all sorts to share the road safely? Everyone uses Cameron
'enue. You heard the Palmer and Kamp, Cameron Ave and other people. They want a safe path to and from the Martin Ave.
(e path before, during and after construction. Moving street"N seems to accomplish many of their concerns. Maintaining a
100th street surface will accomplish many of their concerns as well. Get the toad tipped up one time, for a prescribed amount of
le and that is it. Grind the street, finish pave it and then NO MORE cutting into the street! And get it done early.

larify Ponderosa's claims that the courtyard design of the neighborhood have in fact never been done before and evaluate it to
l4000 sq.ft. or so courtyard homes they are building around the corner at the Bushllronwood Property. There seems to be a
;crepancy here and salesmanship that is being used to sway the city's decision to build here. That isn't right. We seem to be
lIied around in that meeting on this and other items and that isn't right. The project is a nice one for sure but let's get real.

,garding a path thru Selway's property, get a letter from the Chief of Police in Pleasanton to detail what he said and what the
I and ponderosa are saying vs. what I heard him tell me. It seems that his words are being taken out of context. Ponderosa
3med to backpedal when questioned down on that subject at the meeting a couple weeks ago and so did the city.

J adjoining street at Equestrian Ave and at Courtney Ave. No on want's it around here and by moving the streets as suggested,
my problems and issues can and seemingly will be resolved. Remember: sales pitch vs. practicality. We have been ignored big
e by Ponderosa on this issue and it needs resolved.

eported a dust situation for the Bushlltonwood property and didn't receive a call back for about 4 days. Who cares of it was
IT the weekend. The situation was still unacceptable, went un resolved for nearly 4 days and ruined my quality of life. I'd
lsider that un-acceptable and I certainly don't want to see the project proceed if that is the way the city handles our complaints.
, want detailed and explicit instruction as to how to go about complaints and what is the minute detail of measurement of such
actions. i.e. dusty streets, dust in back yards, un patched streets, noise and so on. We want weekend numbers to call as well.
lere are the cameras being p~aced?

the meeting, my friend on Palmer was coming down on me as was my baby sitter on Martin Ave. as well as my neighbor on
nery Ave. as well as many of my neighbors that I socialize, meet with regularity, vacation with, people I bump into and
erwise. It is unfortunate that this project seems to have split the neighborhood. Pondetosa's and the city's plans have certainly
led and tainted some situations for me and my family and maybe forever (you know how people are). The city should because
t, very seriously consider moving the street A as previously suggested at the meeting and this letter as "payment" for what they
ated. We don't mind new neighbors and in fact welcome them however, We all want street A moved off Equestrian and
Jrtney Avenues!

ame to realize that with these nice new homes with an award winning architect, that my home is going to need a serious facelift
hat I can keep up with and protect my investment here at my home. Curb appeal. It seems that many neighbors directly along
project are in the same boat. We therefore, should be afforded as much say so on the project as possible. I.e. moving street
in both places, keeping houses facing Cameron Ave., dust control and street safety.

/2006
