We are also quite surprised to hear how high some of the estimates have been for the retaining wall idea. I know Scott Schafer had shared with me that he spent about $7000 on the wall he built next door to you and I believe it is taller than yours would need to be and required quite a bit more fill than your area would. Anyway, given that Scott did some of that work himself, it apparently reduced his cost quite a lot. At this point we are able to make the following proposal. 10/9/2006
