Exhibit A -Scope of Work tion measures. EIP will prepare the Notice of Completion (NOC) and will file this notice, along with 15 copies of the document, with the State Clearinghouse. The City will distribute copies of the Draft EIR to additional agencies and/or individuals and will distribute a Notice of Availability to the general-circulation news- paper, property owners, community groups and/or individuals who may be interested in the General Plan Update. Deliverable: 50 copies of the Draft EIR plus one camera-ready version to the City, and an additional 15 copies for submittal to the State Clearinghouse. Meetings/City Involvement: One working meeting with City staff to collect comments on the ADEIR. City will publish the Notice of Availability for the Draft EIR. TASK 6: PUBLIC REVIEW AND HEARINGS Purpose: To provide the public and public agencies with an opportunity to review and comment on the Draft EIR. Discussion: The City will provide fora 45-day period during which the public will have an opportunity to review, digest, and comment on the Draft EIR. EIP will attend the Planning Commission and City Council hearings, but presentations are not expected. It is assumed that City staff will provide written documenta- tion of any verbal comments received at these meetings for incorporation into the Final EIR. Meetings: Two Planning Commission hearings and two City Council hearings. TASK 7: PREPARE ADMINISTRATIVE FINAL EIR Purpose: To prepare responses to the com- ments received on the Draft EIR, and incorporate the responses into an Administra- tive Final EIR for City review. Discussion: After the public comment period has closed on the Draft EIR, EIP will review all comments made on the Draft EIR, and provide the City a list of issues raised and information provided in comments on the Draft EIR that could require additional analysis and/or changes to the Draft EIR text (other than mi- nor corrections). EIP will meet with City staff to review all comments received and to establish the appro- priate responses to the comments. EII' will prepare written responses to all oral and writ- ten comments received on the Draft EIR. The Final EIR will include a list of commentors, responses to comments, and a summary of text changes. EIP will provide the City with 10 bound copies of the revised Administrative Final EIR for review and comment. The City will then submit their comments to EIP for incorporation into the document. EIP will submit a final "screencheck" EIR for City re- view and approval prior to printing. Deliverable.• 10 copies of the Administrative Final EIR.
