PUD-65 Environmental Checklist
North Sycamore Specific Plan, asix-foot tall masonry wall would be constructed on a
portion of the eastern property line abutting 362 Sycamore Road, which may be
developed in the future with glow-density residential development. Also, the trash
enclosure would be located towards the northern end of the site to minimize impacts on
the residences to the south. During operation, the office uses will be required to meet the
City's Noise Ordinance and General Plan noise policies.
Short-term constnlction noise would be generated during any new constnlction of this
site. The hours of constnlction will be limited to minimize any impact to surrounding
land uses. Constriction equipment would be required to meet DMV noise standards and
be equipped with muffling devices.
Therefore, this would be ales-than-significant-impact.
e-f) The subject site is not located within the Livermore Municipal Airport Protection Area
Boundary and is located approximately 4.2 miles from the Livermore Airport. Therefore,
the subject development will not expose people to excessive aircraft noise levels.
Therefore, this would be categorized as rzo-impact.
12. POPULATION AND HOUSING
Standards of Significance
For purposes of this environmental document, an impact is considered significant if the proposed
project would:
Induce substantial growth that is inconsistent with the approved land use plans in place;
Displace affordable housing.
Less Than
Potentially Signilcant Less Thm~
Significant With Mitigation Significant No
Issues Impact Incorporated Impact Impact
Population and Housing
tiVould the project:
a) Induce substantial population growth in an area,
either directly (for example, by proposing new
homes and businesses) or indirectly (for
example, through extension of roads or other
infrastructure)?
b) Displace substantial numbers of existing housing, ~ ~ ~ ^X
necessitating the construction of replacement
housing elsewhere?
c) Displace substantial numbers of people, ~ ~ ~ ~X
26
