PUD-65 Environmental Checklist
Less Than
Potentially Significant Less Than
Significant With Mitigation Significant No
Issues Impact Incorporated Impact Impact
Recreation
Would the project:
a) Would the project increase the use of existing ~ ~ ~ ~X
neighborhood and regional parks or other
recreational facilities such that substantial
physical deterioration of the facility would occur
or be accelerated?
b) Does the project include recreational facilities or ~ ~ ~ ~X
require the construction or expansion of
recreational facilities that might have an adverse
physical effect on the environment?
Discussion
a-b) The proposed development will not accelerate the substantial deterioration of existing
park or recreation facilities near the subject site. The office development will not require
the construction or expansion of recreational facilities. Therefore, this would be
categorized as no-impact.
15. TRANSPORTATION AND TRAFFIC
Environmental Setting
The project site has frontage on Sunol Boulevard, which is a public thoroughfare, and Sycamore
Road, which is a public collector street. The three existing driveways off Sunol Boulevard
would be removed and two new driveways on Sunol Boulevard would be installed to provide
access to the proposed development. Existing sidewalks/frontage improvements will be retained
or reconstnicted in conjunction with the project.
Standards of Significance
For purposes of this environmental document, an impact is considered significant if the proposed
project would:
Result in reducing the Level of Service from D to E or worse, except in the Downtown.
29
