216 Gary Dove, 5267 Meadowwood Court, reminded Council that many of the residents were involved in the Task Force's meetings. He believed that the concepts that.the Task Force had recommended are what the citizens, businesses and owners wanted. He felt that it was important not to delay this process anymore. It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Ms. Scribner, that two renderings be prepared ($6,300). The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Mohr, Pico, Scribner and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Ms. Mohr asked what the process would be for the mock-ups. Mr. Swift explained that staff's intent would be to draw a line in the street which would indicate where the curbs would be. Staff would also indicate where the tree wells, parking zones and parking lanes would be located. A mock-up would cost considerably less because it would only include staff time. Ms. Mohr referred to staff's concern that this limited type of mock-up could be misleading. She asked if the mock-up was going to produce the results intended. Mr. Swift stated that a mock-up will help show what the travel lanes and parking lanes will look like. From a spatial stand point, a mock-up will give an excellent view of what a 16 foot sidewalk or a 20 foot sidewalk well look like. It was moved by Mr. Pico, and seconded by Mayor Tarver, directing staff to prepare two mock-ups that would correspond with the renderings.
