87 It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that the lighter blue color be approved but that the doors shall be painted the same color as the building. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 8b Council Priority Areas for 1993 Growth Management Allocations ~ This item was continued to the November 5, 1991 City Council ~ Meeting. < Z Item 8c San Francisco Water Department Property Task Force (SR 91:433) Mr. Swift, Director of Planning, stated that Staff has prepared a statement for what the task force is designed to do and hereby submits it for review. Mr. Tarver wanted to be sure that it is clear that this would not limit the discussion to just this particular project. Mr. Tarver also stated that based on some phone calls he has received from interested citizens, he has reconsidered his participation in lieu of having room for an "average citizen" to be appointed to the Task Force. Interested persons would submit an application and go through the regular interview process along with the others. Ms. Scribner feels that two members from Council serving on the Task Force may be a bit heavy in that it would leave only three councilmembers to make any kind of recommendation to. Ms. Mohr asked Council whether this would be a Council Committee Report coming back to Council or be a Citizens Advisory Committee Report to Council. Mayor Mercer declared that he felt it would be neither as it will be a specific Task Force with recommendations being brought back for consideration by Council. Mr. Butler voiced his concern, also, over Councilmembers being a part of this Task Force. However, it was the way it was set up so he feels it should be given a chance to see if it works.
