Mayor Pieo said that will be discussed next year along with issues regarding affordability <br />or other adjustments to the growth management ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution No. <br />02-133, approving the 2002 Growth Management Report and making allocations as set <br />forth in the staff report. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Brozosky <br /> <br /> Ms. Hosterman wanted to make certain the mitigations are in place for schools, air <br />pollution, and traffic. She noted this was her first night on the job and she had a huge learning <br />cBrve. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala noted most of the allocations deal with the Vineyard Corridor and it is <br />necessary to have those units in order to pay for the infrastructure that is being constructed. This <br />growth management report helps the School District. <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />2003 Local and Regional Appointments for City Councilmembers. (SR 02:286) <br />Appointment of Vice Mayor for the Year 2003. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico indicated he tried to balance the committee assignments and appointments. <br />A number of the committees have two Councilmembers and he has tried to make certain a two- <br />year and four-year member were included, so there is an overlap of experience and continuity. <br />He also tried to accommodate the requests for assignments made by the Councilmembers.
