2. Erosion Control Notes: Notes shall be placed on the
Erosion Control Plan, or on the Grading Plan if a separate
Erosion Control Plan is not prepared, addressing the
following:

A. Erosion and sediment control measures shall be
effective for construction during the rainy season
(October 15 to April 15).

B. No storm runoff water shall be allowed to drain
directly into the existing underground storm system
before the onsite storm drain system is installed.

C. As soon as is practical after the new onsite storm
system is installed, the catch basins shall be
installed and strawbales shall be placed around the
catch basins, as shown on City Standard Drawing Priv-7.

D. Should the proposed onsite storm system not be
installed by October 15, temporary sediment basins
shall be constructed around the openings of any
existing storm pipes which drain the site, per City
Standard Drawing Priv-8 or per a special detail shown
on the plan.

E. The name, address and 24 hour telephone number of
the person responsible for implementation of the
erosion and sedimentation control plan.

F. A minimum of 50' of drain rock, 11/2" diameter or
larger, at a minimum depth of 6", shall be installed at
each driveway entrance to the site. This does not need
to be done at driveways which will be closed by
immovable barricades during construction.

G. All erosion and sedimentation control measures
shall be maintained until disturbed areas are
stabilized. Changes to the Erosion and Sedimentation
Control Plan shall be made to meet field conditions,
but only with the approval of or at the direction of
the City Engineer.

H. During the rainy season specified in Note "A", all
paved areas shall be kept clear of earth material and
debris. The site shall be maintained so as to minimize
sediment laden runoff from entering any storm drainage
system.

22
