I. The Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan covers
only the first winter during which construction is to
take place. Plans are to be resubmitted prior to
September 1st of each subsequent year until the site
improvements are accepted by the City.

J. The responsibility of the Contractor to inspect
and repair all erosion control facilities at the end of
each work day during the rainy season.

K. The responsibility of the Contractor to clean out
sediment basins whenever the level of sediment reaches
the sediment cleanout level indicated on the plans.

L. The responsibility ofthe Contractor to protect
temporary borrow areas and/or stockpiles with
appropriate erosion control measures satisfactory to
the City Engineer.

M. Hydroseeding of cut and fill slopes steeper than
10% with heights of 3 feet or greater. The hydroseed
mixture must be specified.

N. The Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan,
details, notes and calculations if required, must be a
part of the plan check submittal package for either
Grading Permit only or Final Site Approval. The City
Engineer should be consulted by the Design Engineer
prior to plan preparation if the need for a separate
plan is in doubt.

J. Electrical/Gas/Telephone/Cable Television/Fire Supervisory
(Monitoring Alarm System) Facilities

The location and sizes of all proposed electriqal, telephone,
gas, and cable television conduits must be shown on the Utility
Plan as soon as they are available. The electrical transformer,
gas meter, and telephone panel location must also be shown. All
existing facilities adjacent to or within the site must be
indicated, with size and types labeled when known.

The City realizes that details of the proposed facilities may not
be know prior to the desired plan approval time. In this case,
enough information must be available and shown on the plan for
the City Engineer to determine that service to the project is
achievable. In this case, it is the responsibility of the
Engineer/Architect to add the unknown information to the plan as
soon as it is available, labeling it as a revision, and
processing it as such.

23
